Origin used for path hints and persistence routing.

Memory is the default. A non-file URI deliberately has no local path hint.

Host-local path.

Provider-neutral URI, including remote schemes.

pub fn path_hint(&self) -> Option<&Path>

Returns a borrowed language/path hint when one exists.

URI paths are interpreted lexically as Path values even for remote schemes; Memory returns None. No filesystem access occurs.
