Struct MemoryClipboard

Source
pub struct MemoryClipboard { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

In-memory clipboard for tests and headless runs.

Cloning is intentionally unsupported; share it behind an Rc when needed. Reads and writes use a RefCell, so reentrant conflicting access panics. New/default instances contain available empty text (Some("")).

§Examples

use ailloli_ui_runtime::app::{ClipboardProvider, MemoryClipboard};
let clipboard = MemoryClipboard::default();
assert_eq!(clipboard.read_text().unwrap(), "");

Implementations§

Source§

impl MemoryClipboard

Constructors for the deterministic memory clipboard.

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Creates an available clipboard containing the empty string.

§Examples
use ailloli_ui_runtime::app::{ClipboardProvider, MemoryClipboard};
assert_eq!(MemoryClipboard::new().read_text().as_deref(), Some(""));

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl ClipboardProvider for MemoryClipboard

Provides infallible, UI-thread-local text storage.

Source§

fn read_text(&self) -> Option<String>

Clones and returns the currently stored string as available text.

Source§

fn write_text(&self, text: &str) -> Result<(), String>

Replaces stored text and always succeeds unless a conflicting borrow panics.

§Errors

This in-memory implementation currently never returns Err.

§Panics

Panics on a conflicting reentrant borrow of the clipboard text slot.
