Struct RouteOutcome

Source
pub struct RouteOutcome {
    pub interaction_changed: bool,
    pub event_dispatched: bool,
}
Expand description

Observable result of routing one provider-neutral event.

Dispatch and visual interaction changes are independent: a keyboard event can dispatch without requiring redraw, while stale hover cleanup can redraw without dispatching the incoming event.

§Examples

use ailloli_ui_runtime::input::RouteOutcome;
let outcome = RouteOutcome { interaction_changed: true, event_dispatched: false };
assert!(outcome.needs_redraw());

Fields§

§interaction_changed: bool

Whether focus/hover/press/role or popup visual state changed.

§event_dispatched: bool

Whether the event was delivered or consumed by an authority.

Implementations§

Source§

impl RouteOutcome

Host redraw interpretation for routed outcomes.

Source

pub fn needs_redraw(&self) -> bool

Returns exactly interaction_changed.

Widget-triggered runtime invalidation is tracked separately and may require redraw even when this returns false.

§Examples
use ailloli_ui_runtime::input::RouteOutcome;
assert!(!RouteOutcome { interaction_changed: false, event_dispatched: true }.needs_redraw());
