Reason recorded when the portal asks a backend to hide a popup.

This value is diagnostic/behavioral metadata carried by a dismissal intent; it does not itself close a popup. The enum is non-exhaustive.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Programmatic

Explicit application/widget request.

OutsidePress

Pointer press occurred outside the active popup subtree.

Escape

Escape dismissed the topmost eligible popup.

OwnerRemoved

Retained owner element no longer exists.

PresentationStale

Native presentation generation is obsolete.

ParentClosed

An ancestor popup closed.

Unregistered

Registration was explicitly removed.
