Enum PopupMountPolicy

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum PopupMountPolicy { RetainedOverlay, ProceduralFallback, }
Expand description

Rendering ownership selected for one popup registration.

New popup content is mounted into the provider-neutral retained overlay by default. Widgets that still draw their own overlay must opt into Self::ProceduralFallback until their shell, placement, and interaction have migrated to the retained subtree.

The portal keeps two fixed z-order strata: procedural fallbacks are always below retained overlays. Opening a popup raises it only within its own stratum, so paint, hit-testing, outside dismissal, and Escape all agree on the same topmost popup during the migration.

§Examples

use ailloli_ui_runtime::popup::PopupMountPolicy;
assert_eq!(PopupMountPolicy::default(), PopupMountPolicy::RetainedOverlay);

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

RetainedOverlay

Mount the popup factory into the runtime-owned retained overlay tree.

§

ProceduralFallback

Keep widget-owned procedural drawing in the lower migration stratum.
